there is a war (but it’s not here yet)

Written by Eve Allin and Roly Botha

Written for a company of just over twenty 13-14 year olds, there is a war (but it’s not here yet) is set in a dystopian near-future, akin to that of the GoneMaze Runner, and Hunger Games universes. It follows a camp of kids living in a world that has been torn apart by a war between environmental activists and the government. Supplies of fresh water and food are running dangerously low, and the arrival of a strange girl into the Camp threatens to ruin everything the kids have worked to build.

Performed at Bedales Olivier Theatre in Petersfield, Hampshire, June 2018
